Lee Cable (water-based oils/drawing), www.leecableart.com. Garland Weeks (sculpture), www.garlandweeks.com. Drawing on a life-time of achievement and recognition we are honored to bring these talented Grand Masters of art together for this unique and special event.

In addition, Bob Koenke, past publisher of Wildlife Art Magazine, art appraiser, lecturer and business instructor, will head our Marketing/Promotion team. Don’t have a head for business? Have expertise to share? This is the place to get your questions answered, share what you know and participate in a powerful art industry network.

The Southeastern Wildlife Expo (SEWE) and the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation (SKB) are proud to sponsor this special event for professional artists at the beautiful Buckridge Plantation just outside of Charleston in Orangeburg, SC. Timed so those artists participating in SEWE can simply move from their lodging at Buckridge to downtown Charleston for the beginning of the Expo, this artists’ retreat is perfect for that battery-charging, pre-show inspiration.

Buckridge Plantation is a first class, 6500 acre hunting preserve and all-inclusive private resort in a beautiful natural setting that begs to be painted. Among the many amenities at nominal extra charge are a large stocked lake for fishing (rainbow trout), horseback riding, skeet shooting, bird hunting, miles of trails for hiking (quads and golf carts available to take you to painting sites) and swimming pool/cabana. Plein Air/photo reference excursions to the Charleston area will be led by our Grand Master instructors. Additional field excursion options are being planned.

You do NOT have to be an exhibiting artist at SEWE to participate in the Grand Masters Workshop & Art Conference.

Registration deadline is Jan 5, 2008. It is recommended that you reserve and pay for your space as early as possible because of the attendance limitation.

Participating Adults Only Please. This workshop event is for skilled, professional artists/teachers. Spouses/significant others who are involved in marketing/promotion are welcome at the same registration fee of $850.

Make checks out to the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation, send to SKB Foundation, PO Box 235, Lake George, CO 80827. Visa, MC, AMX accepted. Call 719-748-7778 with credit card numbers.

Upon confirmation of your acceptance in the workshop you will receive emailed updates with all needed information including lodging, flight instructions (you will fly into the Charleston Airport) if traveling by air, agenda, art supplies, driving directions, and many other details.

Attendance is limited to around 150 including artists, instructors, guest speakers, special guests and board members. First come first served basis, so reserve your space early.
