Gallery of Art Verité

"Art Verité" is a term created by John for his paintings documenting everyday life - both present and past. Known in England for his nostalgic and atmospheric paintings of street scenes, John is now returning to his roots and capturing North America in the same way.

The theme "Seerey-Lester Paints the Town Red" originated from his highly successful month long one-man show held in Charleston, SC in May 2004. It was so successful it has spurred a new era for John and his art in North America.
